Dance in Performance
The much larger portion of the festival is Dance in Performance. Dancers are not compared with each other and no marking or ranking takes place. The sole purpose for participating is to learn from the dance specialist, each other and from the experience. Each participant receives an assessment based on their own merit.

DanceWorks Dance Access Program
DanceWorks is proud to introduce a new program starting in 2011. Through the Dance Access Program, DanceWorks will be providing grants totalling $6,000 for local dancers, based on dance potential, work ethic and financial need. Click here for details.
